The EUTELSAT Advisory Committee successfully concluded today its work during its 56th meeting and finalised its report to the EUTELSAT Assembly of Parties. Permanent members representing Bulgaria, France, Hungary, Italy, Liechtenstein, Romania, Switzerland, and Türkiye, participated in the meeting together with observers from Georgia, Portugal, Ukraine and the United Kingdom. The Committee expressed its gratitude to Ms. Diana Daczi of Hungary for her contribution to the Committee’s work and appointed Ms. Biliana Zolkova of Bulgaria as Chair for the remainder of the term.
The Executive Secretary informed the Committee of the activities of the Organisation since its last meeting and presented an updated report on the observance of the Basic Principles by Eutelsat S.A. In accordance with its mandate, the Committee reviewed the Organisation’s results for the period July 2023-June 2024 and the updated budget for the period July 2024-June 2025. The Committee also reviewed the proposed budgets for the next two financial years (2025-26 and 2026-27) which will be presented to the EUTELSAT Assembly of Parties for adoption.
At the next and 44th meeting of the Assembly of Parties on 4 and 5 March 2025 in Paris, a new Advisory Committee will be appointed.
