The EUTELSAT Advisory Committee, comprising the Parties of Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, France, Hungary, Italy, Poland and Turkey, met on 22-23 March in Paris under the Chairmanship of Dr Diána Daczi of Hungary. This was the last meeting of the Advisory Committee under its current mandate. A new Advisory Committee will be appointed at the next ordinary meeting of the Assembly of Parties on 10-11 May 2023 in Paris.
The meeting was also attended by Observers from Belgium, Georgia, and Romania and by the Chair and Vice-Chair of the Assembly of Parties, Ms Ivana Stanković of Serbia and Ms Viviane Arni of Switzerland, at the invitation of the Executive Secretary.
The Committee was informed of the activities of the Organisation since its last meting and an updated report on the observance of the Basic Principles by Eutelsat S.A was presented by the Executive Secretary. The Committee reviewed the Staff Regulations of EUTELSAT IGO Secretariat, as requested by the Assembly of Parties, and the proposed budgets for the next two financial years (2023-24 and 2024-25). The Committee concluded its work with its report which will be presented to the Assembly of Parties.
