The first meeting of the new Advisory Committee of EUTELSAT took place today in Paris and comprised the permanent representatives of the Member States of Bulgaria, France, Hungary, Poland, Portugal, Romania, and Switzerland together with three observers from Azerbaijan, Georgia, and Monaco.
The Executive Secretary presented his report to the Committee on the Organisation’s activities since the last Assembly of Parties meeting in March 2025, reporting on its participation in several international events organised by the ITU and UNOOSA or within the framework of its activities in the satellite and space telecommunications sectors, such as the 2025 editions of the World Satellite Business Week and the International Astronautical Congress.
The Executive Secretary presented its conclusions on Eutelsat S.A.’s compliance with the Basic Principles, noting that, given the Group’s financial results and the envisaged capital increase, the Company is able to continue to respect its obligations vis a vis the Organisation.
At the invitation of the Executive Secretary, Mr. Jean-Hubert Lenotte, Chief Strategy and Resources Officer at Eutelsat, provided an overview of the Company’s recent developments, shared its strategic vision for the future while reaffirming the Company’s commitment in fulfilling the Basic Principles.
The Committee also reviewed the results of the Organisation for the period July 2024 to June 2025 and noted that the financial statements were reviewed by the independent auditors, who have issued an unqualified opinion.
